Our "Classic" lodging & dining version is designed with the same historic charm and pleasant surroundings as our "Premium" lodging & dining, except, in this case we have searched out a more rustic and and informal setting, concentrating on historic B&Bs and charming village hotels with casual dining each evening in a local trattoria or bistro.
Normally rated at three stars, our lodging choices are regarded as the "closest thing to old Europe". Lodgings generally offer less amenities than our Premium Inns Version such as concierge service and spa services, encouraging you to spend more time discovering the nearby countryside or the secrets of the local village.

Classic Inns - As with our Premium lodgings, all Club Toscana Classic trips offer a more casual and moderately priced version of the same lodging categories. Whether located in the countryside, in a small village, along the sea or in a mountain hamlet, the view is always the best, guest service is always impeccable, and the charm never ends.

Casual Dining - Best appreciated in local trattorias and family operated restaurants where everyone from the chef to the waiter are part of an extended family. Recommended by travel and food writers, these restaurants offer the best introduction to village life where local dignitaries and authentic traditional cuisine make dining a truly cultural experience. Special diets are never a problem and you are always free to make any selection from the daily menu.

To find a description of each trip's lodging, please visit our biking, walking or multi-sport trip pages. Sometimes, there are more than one great property to stay at during a trip itinerary. As an option, if you have received a recommendation from a friend or read a glowing review in a travel magazine for a lodging or dining establishment different from our selected list, and you would like to incorporate it into one of our trips, let us know. We would be happy to include it where possible. Each Club Toscana trip starts with an introductory light lunch before heading out for an afternoon jaunt to get those biking legs or walking shoes warmed-up. No countryside vacation is complete without a glorious picnic and Club Toscana is no exception. Featuring regional specialties from the local village bakery, delicatessen, fruit and vegetable stand and a little something from a wine estate along the way, we'll put together an unforgettable picnic under a shady tree with only the quiet sounds of the countryside for company.
